Why do we have to come in on Fridays to have our Medicare Part D review?

NEED HELP WITH YOUR PART D PLAN?

The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period for Part D (prescription drugs) is just around the corner.

Each fall, Medicare gives you a short window to add, drop, or change a stand-alone Part D (PDP) plan. That window — the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) — runs from October 15 through December 7, 2026. Any change takes effect on January 1, 2027.

OUR ROLE

Our role is limited. Using the Medicare Plan Finder on Medicare.gov, we sit with you, enter your ZIP code, current prescriptions, and pharmacy, and help you compare options.

We are not contracted with Medicare Part D drug plans. We do not receive compensation on these plans, and we cannot service a Part D policy after it is in force. What we offer is guidance, and we are glad to give it.

HOW FRIDAY RX REVIEWS WORK

Part D-only reviews are offered Fridays only, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., first come, first served. We do not take appointments for these reviews.

Licensed agents will enter your list and walk you through the comparison. Reviewing a prescription list is a straightforward process, and any of our licensed agents can complete it with you. This year we will have our largest review team ever.

For efficiency (see the video above), we will not schedule Rx-only reviews Monday through Thursday during AEP. This system has worked smoothly for our clients in past years and we have found it to be the best method to serve you given the limited time frame.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Creekside Insurance Advisors, Inc. is not contracted with Medicare Part D drug plans. We do not receive compensation and cannot service any Part D policies. Our sole role is to help guide you to an appropriate Part D plan.
Medicare rules do not allow us to accept prescription lists over the phone.
CMS requires all Part D-related phone calls to be recorded.
Please do not drop off prescription lists at our front desk, or email or mail them to our office.
Everyone considering a plan change must be present during the review.

OUT-OF-TOWN CLIENTS OR SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES

If you live beyond a reasonable commute to our Winchester office, or have health issues that prevent you from driving, call our office. We will handle these situations case by case and make sure you get the help you need.
