A New Year – A New Resolution

A Message from Creekside

We would like to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from our Creekside InsuranceAdvisors Family. Thank you for being the best part of Creekside, we look forward to a great 2023!

It’s that time of year again, when everyone starts talking about all the changes they want to make come January 1st. Talkof “resolutions” is everywhere, on social media, during TV commercials, and standing around the water cooler. Then itgets us thinking about all we want to accomplish in the coming year, too, so we start making promises to ourselves thatwill be really hard to keep. That’s where it gets tricky: though the numbers vary a bit, experts believe that only eightpercent of people are able to keep their New Year’s resolutions. Ouch!

Here is the best way to keep your "resolutions"

  1. First things first DITCH the word RESOLUTION

  2. Be positive, make this a goal or a plan

  3. Be specific as to what you are trying to achieve

  4. Take baby steps, nothing big gets accomplished in a day

  5. Tell your friends and family, get their buy-in and encouragement

  6. Give yourself a break, it's ok to take breaks along the way

  7. Reward yourself every chance you get

  8. Most importantly - Don't give up!
